Semulov lists all mounted volumes in your menubar and makes the eject/unmount operation easier.

Semulov is an application that puts an "eject" icon on your menubar. Next to it, there is a number that shows how many volumes are mounted.

When you click on the 'eject' icon a drop-down list will appear with all mounted volumes. In my test I mounted around 50 volumes. To unmount any volume you have to just select the volume and it will automatically unmount/eject itself.

As an additional feature to Semulov you can chose to have an "eject all" option in the menu. This option came very handy after I unmounted around 20 volumes in my test, one by one. There is also a 'disable the warning dialogs' option, but in my test it didn't do anything. I would like to have an option to enable/disable growl notifications. When I used "eject all" option I got all the growl notifications for every successful unmount, and that was uncomfortable. If some of the mounted volumes are internal hard drives you can chose to hide them from the application preferences.

Pluses: easy unmount any number of volumes directly from your menubar.

Drawbacks / flaws: an enable/disable growl notification would be nice.

In conclusion: this is the best application in case you use a lot of mounted volumes. It makes the unmounting operation even easier than using the drag and drop function.
